Getting something healthy to drink can be tricky these days, as most drinks contain unbelievable amounts of sugar. This can be upsetting at times, because I try my best to avoid gassy sodas and sugar filled juices. In the end water is usually my option left to drink.
My friend introduced me to her homemade lemon and honey ice tea. I’ve heard of people making their own ice teas before, but I’ve never made it myself.
Luckily I had my camera with me and thought it’s the perfect opportunity to take a few photos and share the recipe with you.
Homemade lemon and honey ice tea ingredients:
- 1 liter boiled water
- 4 rooibos tea bags
- tbls honey
- lemon slices
- ice cubes
Follow these easy steps
Add boiling water to the tea bags
Add honey, lemon and ice cubes
I was pleasantly surprised about its refreshing taste and how easy it was to make. For an even healthier option, you can leave out the tablespoon of honey.
